The chateau with a well known historical past, was built at the end of the 18th century. It used to be the home of two Generals of the Empire at the beginning of the 19th century.
The main building is flanked with two wings thus forming a courtyard. The chateau is topped with a Mansart-style roof which makes the attic habitable.
The façade, facing the Seine River, was modified in the 19th century by the addition of two extensions, roof terraces covered in zinc and surrounded by stone balusters, like the porch which is accessible by a stairway leading to the parkland. In a corner, supported by two columns, a small terrace is protected by a curved wrought iron railing.
In the courtyard, a terrace supported by a column and protected by a wrought iron railing, features two oculi surrounded by wrought zinc. It also comprises double wrought iron entrance doors.
The external stone walls are covered with white plasters. The windows frames, the corbels and cornices are decorated with moulding.
Between the bay windows of the ground floor and the ones on the first floor, the facades are decorated with scrolls featuring ornamental motifs representing cherubs.
The floors are covered with flagstones, terra cotta tiles, tiling and herringbone pattern oak parquet flooring.
